jackiejjhas died. She was the best of us. I hope her archive stays up because she was a lovely writer.
 
I won't mourn. I don't believe in death- except as a rigmarole one has to go through- like passport control. She's home now and probably designing herself little houses. She loved designing houses. 

She was full of questions about God and religion and life and death- and now she has the answers.

I'll miss her very much (not the same as mourning, exactly) and I have the book she put together from many of her original LJ posts that she so kindly sent me as a surprise. I'll be re-reading that.

I see her LJ has been designated a "memorial" which means it will stay. I'm glad of that.

I read her from time to time. I found her in a search for Jungians a long time ago and bookmarked her journal. She was a wonderful writer and a lovely soul. I saw that she had been ill the last time I read her entries (her daughter had written), and then about a week later, you wrote this post. Death does make me sad, though I like the way you look at it.

Death makes me sad, but then so does much of life. None of it is easy.

If the dice had rolled a little differently Jackie would have been a much loved newspaper columnist or novelist or radio humourist. She had the talent, she had the style.
