This House Feels Neglected

Ailz is going to be out most of today. This morning she'll be at her mother's, this afternoon she'll be going round clothes shops with Ruth. I ought to use this time to clean the house from top to bottom and then redecorate but something tells me I'm not going to get very far.

I discovered why the fridge smelt like a morgue. There was a carton of milk in there which I thought I hadn't opened only I had and it's been sitting there for a couple of months undergoing complex chemical changes.

So this is how Stinking Bishop came to be? Or perhaps, evolved.

Not to disparage SB, of course - that's one of my favorite British cheeses. (Sadly, the place I used to pick it up from locally has closed again, citing a need to sort out remaining issues from the crash a few months back, when a car lost control and smashed through the storefront. They reopened for December, but by January, shut again, now with multiple flyers in the windows noting they remain trading online - but that's all hampers. Hopefully at least doing well enough out of that that the deli can reopen properly soon - there's nothing else like it in town)

I love a good strong cheese- a mature Stilton best of all.

It's a shame about your deli. I hope they get things sorted soon.
