poliphiloI wobble in and out of vegetarianism. For several years now I've been an omnivore because it's easier that way but we were in Waitrose this morning, buying a week's supply of meat and I had moment of revulsion and thought, "What on earth am I doing?"
Ailz and my mother had hamburger for lunch and I had a samosa and a bhaji with boiled rice and chutney.
Nicest meal I've had in ages...

Date: 2014-01-20 04:47 pm (UTC)However, I do wish people wouldn't teach their children to believe that a chicken is a nugget shaped animal that lives in a plastic bag in a supermarket freezer.
If you wish to eat meat and I've no issue at all with those who do so wish, at least be a bit fussy about sources and production methods.
