Preparing To Redecorate

poliphiloWe've acquired a couple of pieces of thin blue carpet (previously used in the marquees at Jenny's wedding). Thank you Ruth. We intend to lay them in the spare bedroom.
Decorating the spare bedroom is my task for this autumn. I gave it a goodish clean a month or so back. Today I covered areas of bare plaster and smoke damage with white emulsion. The bare plaster is down to electricians and hungry rabbits; the smoke damage was caused by the candles we burned in there when we were running a coven..
