Whinging About The Weather

poliphiloI was so sure today was the 1st of Feb I wrote an email to a friend rejoicing in it. Then Ailz pointed out that January has 31 days and always has done. Bummer.
February is the grimmest month and I'm keen to get it over with. I've never understood why T. S. Eliot was so down on April. April is lovely.
As it is, we seem to be heading into an extra cold spell. Yesterday was bitter but at least we saw the sun. Today is equally cold- perhaps colder- and completely overcast. I just stepped outside and a couple of things that looked a lot like snow flakes fell past me.
