An Interruption

poliphiloWe called in on Odi on our way to Somewhere Else and found her in a terrible state because Peter had tried to strangle her and she'd called the cops and now the Home Office and whoever else is responsible are engineering a separation. If they decided to put Peter on the next plane to Cameroon I wouldn't in my present state of uncharitableness care very much.
Thus far we haven't gone Somewhere Else.
We spent the morning at her place, then came home for lunch.
And now Odi has rung to say the authorities are going to be calling round this afternoon to pick up Peter's shit and she's as OK as she can be expected to be- and we're free to go Somewhere Else (which we really need to do)....
I don't expect to be writing here until next week....
