Christmas Party

We didn't get to the family Christmas party last year because of the snow. I'm not sure if we went the year before (we might have done). Anyway there's been a change, because now there are kids- very small ones- three of them. We had taken chocolate cake and the oldest of the three kids found her way to the front room where it was on display and dined on it- all by herself- in lonely splendour. 

"Not naughty," she said when discovered. And I agree.

It's good to have kids around. This family has been a kid-free zone for too long.

(Laughing) I'm with that little girl on that score. I love chocolate cake, even though I am not too crazy over other chocolate offerings -- well, maybe hot chocolate on a freezing cold day...and.....(etc)

Yes, I like chocolate cake too. I'm not a chocoholic, but I like a hit every once in a while.
