What an amazing ruin. It looks as though you had a good trip back via Much Wenlock too. Was there any mention of the Olympics at Much Wenlock, Ian asks?

Yes Much Wenlock brags about the Olympics on its road signs.

We visited three monastic ruins on our way home. Buildwas is my favourite- partly because I love the Romanesque and partly because it was so peaceful.
