New Blinds

It snowed in the night. Our old bedroom blinds were blackout blinds, but the new ones aren't- and they glow. Last night- what with the street lights shining on the snow- they glowed with a soft pinky-orange light you could have read by.

Do you need absolute darkness to sleep well? There are blackout curtains you can get that go over the blinds, if so.

I don't believe I do. We chose not to have black-out blinds this time- and I'm happy with them, thus far.
