A Day's Work

Ailz noticed a crack on the beading round the bedroom window- and alerted Peter who alerted Mohammed who came and gave the window frame a good shake to prove it was secure. The sink is plumbed in but for some reason only the hot water works; the plumber had sloped off before I noticed this, so I'll have to wait until morning to ask him what's up. Most of the kitchen units are in place, but none of them have doors.

Hopefully that's because he's not actually finished rather than that the pipes are frozen ...

But, no, he'd only just fitted the pipes. There wasn't time for them to freeze...
