In Spite Of The Snow

poliphiloIt has snowed- on and off- all through the day. I was pleasantly surprised the workmen managed to get here- equally pleased they didn't down tools early . There have been three of them- two joiners and a plumber- all working in the kitchen. They've put a radiator in place and a sink unit. The radiator works. The sink has still to be plumbed in.
The house is so quiet when they leave.

Date: 2010-12-01 08:50 pm (UTC)We're using a small portable oven which we've got hooked up in the back living room. Nothing in the kitchen works right now. There's no electricity in there and no running water.
