In Spite Of The Snow

It has snowed- on and off- all through the day. I was pleasantly surprised the workmen managed to get here- equally pleased they didn't down tools early . There have been three of them- two joiners and a plumber- all working in the kitchen. They've put a radiator in place and a sink unit. The radiator works. The sink has still to be plumbed in.

The house is so quiet when they leave.

We are. The kitchen is being totally remodelled.

We're using a small portable oven which we've got hooked up in the back living room. Nothing in the kitchen works right now. There's no electricity in there and no running water.
