Curry For Lunch

It was a rainy night, but we didn't get the storm I was expecting. The kitchen this morning is full of leaves that have blown in under the boards that cover the hole that will eventually be patio doors.

We'll be having curry for lunch. Nakisha from next door brought it round last night- unfortunately too late for us to eat it for tea. I asked her if they were having a party and she said, no, it was a memorial meal for her little brother who died.

We keep one room warm- or try to- but the workmen are always breezing in and out of the house and leaving the front door open.
