Heavily Pregnant Woman Defeats Old Bloke 2-1

Still no baby.

Odi was round here yesterday afternoon and she and I and Fabi were out the back kicking a football around. I didn't know heavily pregnant women could run around and kick footballs. We were playing in what is effectively a narrow lane and I got one ball past her and she got two past me and was crowing that she'd won.

This makes me smile. I was climbing very steep hills the day before my first daughter was born. It's surprising how agile a very heavily pregnant woman can be if she chooses.

It's been a revelation to me. Today we took her to the hospital and then round the shops. She seems to have huge reserves of energy.
