The Abbot's kitchen- the only building on site to remain intact. It was used for a time as a Quaker Meeting House.

Date: 2010-04-23 06:28 pm (UTC)Glastonbury is odd. The town- away from the Abbey and High Street is utterly nondescript- or seems so.
Wells is lovely. We usually visit when we're down that way, but on this occasion time was short.
The destruction of the Abbey and the execution of Richard Whiting were terrible crimes.
