There was already snow on the ground. Then it snowed during the night. And now it's snowing some more. Ailz says this is the most snow we've had since 1974. Did nobody tell the Cloud Man that this planet is meant to be warming up?

We're also getting weather conditions that haven't been the norm here since the early 1970s, or so the older guys at the Masons lodge told my DH. Well over two feet of snow, two ice storms, overnight temps down into the single digits Fahrenheit (it got down to 5F Saturday night), and it's barely January. Brrrr!

it's been snowing gently but persistently all day- and the snow is lying much thicker now than it was when I took the picture this morning.
