I believe it's a picture of my right leg, but I'm not entiely sure.

I guess I was holding the camera pointing down with my finger on the button, but I've no idea quite what I did to get that creepy ectoplasmic effect. l've tried to duplicate it, but the results- see next entry- are quite different.

Oh, that's interesting! I wonder if your finger or perhaps a bit of fabric was partially blocking the light meter?

That's possible.

But I don't think I had any gauzy fabrics about my person.

I wasn't thinking fabric blocking the lens, but rather a bit of fabric covering the light meter aperture and confusing the camera as to how much light was in the room. Obviously there was also some wiggle or something, to lend the blurriness, but the hazy paleness might be light issues.

Ah, yes- that's entirely possible.
