The Second Sunday Before Lent
Feb. 15th, 2009 12:49 pmIt's getting round the congregation that I used to be a vicar. The latest to find out is a woman called Auriel, who introduced herself as the friend of one of my former girlfriends.
Auriel- such a pretty name! I looked it up; it means Light of God.
It's also the name of an Archangel. The Archangel of the Watchtower of the North.
I still don't really know why I'm doing this- going to church, I mean- but I've decided to stop worrying about it and just get it done.

...or that the Establishment's idea of what it means to be a Christian is a load of old horse leavings?
