Collider Day

We've just bought a couple of daylight bulbs for the living room. This is all part of our multi-pronged strategy for beating the recession and making this winter a happy experience. It may be glooming outside, but inside it'll be as bright as May Day and we won't get SAD.

We've also invested in fleeces. Mine has little skull and crossbones all over it.

I understand the Large Hadron Collider has been switched on. This is probably the most important event of the 21st century thus far. I don't think we've been sucked into an alternate universe, but if we had, would we notice?

Reminds me -- I've got to get some of those bulbs. Lately when the sun does not shine, neither do I, LOL! And winter has never been my favorite time of year, as much as I have tried and tried to make friends with it.

I find myself quite down in the mouth by the time January and February come round. I'm hoping the artificial sunlight will make a difference.
