We've just bought a couple of daylight bulbs for the living room. This is all part of our multi-pronged strategy for beating the recession and making this winter a happy experience. It may be glooming outside, but inside it'll be as bright as May Day and we won't get SAD.

We've also invested in fleeces. Mine has little skull and crossbones all over it.

I understand the Large Hadron Collider has been switched on. This is probably the most important event of the 21st century thus far. I don't think we've been sucked into an alternate universe, but if we had, would we notice?

The collider worked fine according to the news. I THINK I'm still in the same house....

I am rather disappointed to find I am in the same body--I was hoping to wake up to find myself in Jessica Alba's body.

Would be dreadfully unfair to the poor girl to stick her with MY body....but she would learn humility....quickly....

Oh how funny!

I would go for Audrey Hepburn... except that she is no longer living... that might not be too wise of a choice.

It may be the same house, but is it in the same universe?

I think so...
A WW2 bomber just flew overhead though. :^) (It's visiting over at our town airport)

They have air-shows here that get unbelievable planes to come in. They have had lots of old planes, a stealth bomber, and that helicopter that can take off straight up.... and more. They do sell rides in this one but it's almost $400 a person!

We live near an international airport, so we get lots of planes going over- but nothing terribly exciting- more's the pity.
