Daffodils are such tough flowers. I am pretty sure that they will survive it just fine.

Yes, I think they will.

Lovely photo! I hope it's not too cold where you are.

I'll be posting my Easter snow picture shortly. We have no snow on the ground here, but by hanging out of the window with my extra zoom attachment, I could photograph the distnat mountains.

The temperature must be well above freezing. The snow was about two inches thick this morning and now- by evening- it has mostly gone.

Distant mountains? That sounds good.

...

Wow. The snow looks so... powdery. Almost like glitter.

(Can you tell how often I've seen snow?)

This is old snow- six hours old at least- and beginning to melt.

Makes for a lovely photo, though. And I dunno about unseasonable, exactly. I remember it snowing in Manchester in 1998 the night the Good Friday Agreement was signed, and there was minor flooding all over the UK delaying people's trains.

Which means its been ten years since the accord, I guess.

bother it

I'd forgotten about that.

But did the snow in '98 lie thick on the ground as it has done today?

Beautiful photograph. We too have had snow off and on for 3 days, but most of it is gone now.

Ours has melted too. But it's snowing again as I write...

Great photo --- I love the play of light and shadow and color.

A friend of mine in Colchester says she and her daughter and their neighbors had an Easter morning snowball fight. *g*

Thanks.

I went down to the playing fields yesterday afternoon and they were dotted with snowmen.

A beautiful contrast!

Has it all melted?

A lovely picture -- on like it could have been taken in Massachusetts on an April Easter morning several years ago....

Thanks.

This is a very early Easter, I believe- about as early as it ever gets- even so it's rare to have such a heavy snowfall in March

That looks so fresh and pretty. A great photo, worthy of a frame.
We had lots of snowflakes but very little "stuck" - so no winter wonderland for us.

Thanks.

Our winter wonderland has already melted- but it's snowing again, even as I write....

Beautiful!

Sigh. We never have snow anymore down here.

But this year the daffodils are beautiful.

It's odd; we had hardly any snow during the winter and then along comes this very generous snowfall at the start of spring.
