I read that Winston Churchill's WWII Victory V symbol was dreamed up for him by Aleister Crowley. I knew those two dudes knocked around together, but can that really be true?
Oh and when Rudolph Hess parachuted into Scotland it was suggested that Crowley should be sent to interrogate him. Set an occultist to trap an occultist. And the man who did the suggesting? Ian Fleming, creator of OO7, then a real life spook.
