I was pleased with the ending if not terribly surprised by it all. She tells a compelling story -- one might think she cast a spell herself on the book, making it impossible to put down until finished.
Or not. I did manage to take a break long enough to see the HP movie. Although, that's not really much of a break, is it?

Date: 2007-07-23 10:15 am (UTC)The ending was less radical than I thought it would be. I'd expected one- at least- of the three central characters to die.
She's brought the series to an honourable conclusion. I still think Order of the Phoenix is the best of the books.
