Rachel The Rabbit

Rachel the rabbit had a stroke or a seizure and lost the use of her legs and had to be put to sleep.

Oh.

We weren't expecting this.

We'd had her about 10 months,  she came to us from a rescue centre and must have been about 5 years old. 

Tosh has been going from room to room,  looking for her. 

And now he's sitting by my chair. He needs the company. I reach down and tickle his nose.

We're going to an abandoned animals sanctuary this afternoon to check out a new rabbit. The word on the street is that rabbits shouldn't be left alone and the sooner we get Tosh a companion the better.

Will you take Tosh with you to help you choose, or would that be needlessly disruptive for him?

I think we'll leave him behind. He doesn't enjoy being picked up and messed around.
