My Heart Leaps Up

More than usually vivid rainbow this morning...
Looks like the pot o'gold could be buried under the old folks home on Sidings Close.
"My heart leaps up when I behold
A rainbow in the sky.
So was it when my life began
So is it now I am a man:
So be it when I shall grow old,
Or let me die.
The Child is father of the Man:
And I could wish my days to be
Bound each to each by natural piety."
Which reminds me: the Meeting House acquired a volume of Wordsworth last week- the gift of a Friend who is leaving town and wanted to shed books (and plants) before she left. I slipped it onto a shelf in the Meeting Room next to the Bibles and Quaker Books of Discipline which people sometimes consult during worship because if Wordsworth isn't as inspired a writer as any Bible writer or old time Quaker I don't know what inspiration is....
