You Don't Always Get What You Want
Jan. 18th, 2024 07:27 am AI is still in its infancy. It doesn't understand what it's doing. It may misinterpret your instructions (in fact that's the norm) or even directly go against them. Also like any apprentice artist, it finds hands and feet difficult. Don't interrogate your character's extremities too closely; you may find thay have extra fingers and toes.
Here's an utter car crash of an image...
I wanted two effigies lying on an altar tomb. Something like this, the famous Fitz-Alan tomb in Chichester Cathedral:

So I wrote a prompt that began "A knight and his lady lying on a tomb..."
And what I got was this

Oh my!
And now count the legs. Useful things, legs! She seems to have three of them while he doesn't have any....
