poliphilo 1. It's very quiet and grey and still. Cold but not bitingly cold. Maybe it's going to snow.
2. Ailz has allowed herself to become the Eastbourne Quaker Meeting's rep to the East Sussex Area Meeting. She'll be zooming with them this morning. When that gets going I'll be off to the shops to buy some crusty bread for lunch.
3. Mike and Su and Sej were supposed to be with us this weekend but Sej had his one year vaccination on Thursday and is feeling surly so they cancelled.
3.I have three books on the go. They are:
A. The Eden Conspiracy. Paul Wallis's 4th book about palaecontact.
B. Plato's Timaeus. I'm reading it because Paul Wallis says I should. How formal and polite and long-winded these ancient Greek gentlemen are!
C. Stevenson's The Dynamiter. There are, in fact, two Stevensons involved in the production of this entertaining potboiler. Robert Louis and Fanny De Grift. One is a great writer and the other isn't- and the conjunction jars..
