Feline Alarm Clock
Oct. 26th, 2023 08:01 am The cat wakes us around six. He's got some sort of internal time piece. Maybe he's monitoring the slow increase in light.
It's a new experience. We used to keep him out of the bedroom but this summer we relented.
The upside is that plaintive mewing and scratching is less harsh on the nerves than an alarm clock would be.
Mind you, I haven't used an alarm clock in ages.
"We'll have problems next week," says Ailz.
"Why's that?" I ask
"Because we'll be putting the clocks back..."
