poliphilo He and I are contemporaries more or less. Early seventies. I may have a few months on him.
"At what age do we become old?" he asked. He said it like he was afraid he'd reached it.
"For me it comes and goes," I said. "If I'm striding through town I feel like I'm 25, but at other times- now for instance" (after a morning spent being excessively nice to people) "I turn into grandpa..."
