Ailz and I have imposed a hosepipe ban on ourselves. The authorities will be doing it soon anyway- and if a thing is antisocial one shouldn't have to wait to be told. Instead we're collecting waste water in watering cans and buckets.
The management of water should be taken out of the hands of private companies. They skimp essential work so that they can pump money into the accounts of their shareholders. The profit motive corrupts everything it touches....
