Open Doors
May. 5th, 2023 09:56 am We've finished the first phase of cataloguing the Meeting House library- the phase that involved us being actually present in the building- and having people dropping in and out- and this was such a positive experience that we're experimenting with having the building open every Thursday through the middle of the day- with no particular purpose except to see what happens- with Ailz and I volunteering to be on site from ten thirty till three. The first day went as we'd hoped. Three people dropped by, Ailz cooked lunch for everyone and in the afternoon we listened to part of a lecture about disability access. I think churches should be open at all reasonable times, so why not Quaker Meeting Houses...
