I'm hoping we may have found someone to take on the Meeting House library. I love books but the sort of books this particular library contains (books of theology and devotion by 20th century chaps in tweed jackets) are among my least favourite kind.
I was inclining towards putting roses in the recovered flower bed- but that was before I saw that Sainsbury's were selling big boxes of bulbs for £4.50 each.
The box I bought contains:
19 Allium Moly Yellow
1 Dahlia Topmix Purple
2 Lilium Oriental "Fenice" Apricot
6 Ranunculus Orange.
I'll plant them in March, they ought to flower through the summer- and that's exactly what we want.
I'm weary. It's been a busy winter all ways round- and I think my mother's funeral may have taken more out of me than I thought it was going to...

Unfortunately many are becoming a burden because the cost of repairs and maintenance is more than the meeting house can bring in via renting it out to other groups. Add to that the aging and dwindling membership and it's no wonder many meetings are selling them off.
