High Winds

poliphiloThe new car is painted "mangrove green" so I wanted to call it Swampy but it's Ailz's car and she prefers Bonny- so Bonny it is.
We spent most of yesterday at the Meeting House, supervising the guy who was fixing the gas boiler. We hired him because we knew he was thorough- and thorough he certainly was. The system is now "up to code"- a phrase he and Ailz were slinging around yesterday and which I'd never heard before but am going to adopt because it sounds so businesslike.
It was going dark when we finally got home and the goblins were abroad- most of them being shepherded by parents. We had three groups call on us. It was rather sweet.
The wind got up last night- and my first job this morning was righting the recycling bin and retrieving the papers and plastics that had blown into the flowerbeds.
