poliphilo My sister and her husband live in Basingstoke, we live in Eastbourne and the plan is to locate my mother in a nursing home midway between the two. My brother-in-law suggested Godalming- which is a pretty little town and would be an excellent place for us to meet up, call in on my mother and then go and have lunch.
The Watts Gallery in Compton- which we all like- is just up the road from Godalming- and practically within walking distance of one of the homes my sis and bro-in-law are going to be checking out this morning. The other home is in Guildford- a larger town, a little to the north. Guildford is pretty too.
