We advertised a fridge freezer on Freecycle. It went to a young man with tattoos on his face who was moving from a council flat to a private flat with his son. Later today we'll be taking a carload of miscellaneous stuff to the charity shop.
Mary from the lodge came to visit my mother last night. My mother didn't know her. She tried a trick that has worked in the past and asked my mother about the war. "What war?" my mother replied.
