It's a very narrow street. If people didn't pull up onto the sidewalk they'd block it.
None of the houses round here have garages; they're mostly too old.

Being in america, it took me a few minutes to realize that I was wrong in thinking that that car is parked on the wrong side of the road. Silly me.

Parking is a nightmare round here.
The houses are mostly 19th and early 20th century and none of them have garages.
