Keeping Busy And Engaged

I check to see if the Prime Minister is still in office: he is.

I check to see if Prince Andrew still has any titles left: He does; leastways journalists are still calling him "Prince" and "Duke". I'm tempted to refer to him as Andrew Windsor but that's beginning to feel like kicking a man when he's down.

I check to see if England are still contesting the fifth Test: They're not, having suffered yet another of their batting collapses.

I want to be doing things in the house buying line but we've signed all the papers now and it's up to other people to get a move on. I hate to feel powerless: I know; I'll start making things pleasant for the buyers by giving the cooker a good scrub.
