Lateral Flow

I just did a lateral flow test.

My first.

Lord, but the inside of one's nose is sensitive! I suppose it needs to be. Anything that gets too far up a nostril is potentially threatening the brain. So think of it as an early warning system.

Incoming, incoming.

I'm afraid I was vociferous. My eyes ran.

And now I wait for the result....

Tick, tick, tick...

Fifteen minutes go by...

And the result is negative.

I've not tried as I know well enough that it would make me vomit.

Apparently this is a problem for a fair number of people.

We're using the relatively new system where you don't have to swab your throat, only your nose.
