Christmas Closes In

poliphiloThe photographer came and and took photographs. I followed her around and moved furniture at her behest. We (more precisely my sister) has engaged a solicitor. A contract with the estate agent has been signed and delivered to his office...
And there's not much more we can do- except look at pictures of houses and dream. I found a two bedroom apartment situated on the ground floor of a Victorian mansion in Lewes. It's affordable. And it has views out over the Downs. If we took it we'd have to lose almost all our furniture- but why not?
I can feel Christmas closing in- and all I want to do is sleep, eat mince pies and drink egg nog (not that I have any egg nog). If I feel a little less lethargic tomorrow morning I shall put up the Christmas tree.
We're in the space between two storms. Arwen has gone and Barra is on it's way. They say Barra is going to be a right little terror.
