I'm Not Vain, Honestly..

The magazine that's running a story about me is asking for pictures. The journalist who wrote the story says they want to do a full page spread.

My first thought was a grudging- "Why do I have to do all the work?" But my second thought was, "Actually I could have fun with this."

So I posed for some selfies. Here's the one I like best.



And then I selected this image from my very limited stash of photographs of Ailz and I when we were young and did some editing. It was taken on our wedding day. I don't know who the photographer was because we didn't employ a professional. The chap in the picture behind us is the actor Kenneth More in the role of Father Brown.

Great pic of you and a nice one of both of you too. Were you still vicaring at that point?

No. I left the church in '86- and we got married in '91. The years between were eventful...
