poliphiloI'm feeling more than a little Mark Tapley at the moment- doing my best to be jolly under trying circumstances.
Julia- whose business involves her in filling up frequently- says the petrol shortage has been going on for weeks- and people have been managing it perfectly well- knowing that if one petrol station was out of fuel the one down the road wouldn't be- and it was only when ministers and the media started saying, "Don't panic!" that they did.
Three energy companies went bust yesterday, including the one we were signed up with. We've moved to another and our fees have doubled.
As I said yesterday, it feels like these trials are being engineered to keep us miserable and malleable.
And as someone I was listening to yesterday said, these are classic MK Ultra tactics.
All the more reason to fight back with jolliness.
