Back in March the PM hazarded that it'd take us three months to get on top of CV19. "Three months," I thought, "But that's all the way to June."

And now it's September.

And the PM is saying he hopes we'll be able to celebrate Christmas in the traditional way but he's not making any promises...

I remember that day in March when we packed up our work things to take home; one of my coworkers who is a bit naive asked our supervisor "are we going to telework ALL WEEK?"

Ah, simpler times.

I wonder how long after 1918 people shared influenza stories, before that pandemic became just a page in the history books. I never heard it mentioned in any family stories, even from grandparents who were alive then.
