The Final Stretch

purchas is taking over my life.

I lie awake at night worrying how to get her from A to B.

I'm on the final stretch. I've written 40,000 words. Another 20,000 (or something like) and I'm done.

20,000 words- How hard can that be?

Simply because it's the task I've set myself. If I took a break now I'd feel I'd let myself down

What if you finished this go-round and set yourself a new task that doesn't tether you to the keyboard quite so badly? Otherwise, you may find Purchas going on pilgrimage to someone else's LJ!

I think I'll probably write another Purchas book. But I won't do it at the break neck pace that I've set myself with this one.

And I won't start posting the results until it's either finished or far advanced.
