I lie awake at night worrying how to get her from A to B.

I'm on the final stretch. I've written 40,000 words. Another 20,000 (or something like) and I'm done.

20,000 words- How hard can that be?

i hope so; it seems like the story would naturally have to go on until present day. maybe not continuously, though... you could skip around to the times you like best. you could even go backward, if you wanted. the storytelling possibilities for your premise are somewhat comicbook-like; purchas will always have an adventure you haven't yet told.

Yes. I've got something here I can keep going back to.

There are certain historical eras I'd really like to play around in.

I expect the next story to be set in the 1530s.
