An Expensive Two Months

I thought- what with not eating out for two months- we'd have saved money during lockdown, but not so.

The thing is we've been buying most of our food from the farm shop where prices are higher than in the supermarkets because small businesses don't have the muscle to put the squeeze on their suppliers.

Also we've been buying "treats".

Ah well...

Same as in trying to support the local artisanal traders, but we're still spending somewhat less.

We're buying lots of fresh fruit and veg- and the price at the farm shop is double what you'd pay in the supermarket- or so Ailz tells me.
