"Sun cream?!" I say, scornfully.
"Look at yourself in the mirror," she says.
And she's got a point. I've turned brown. All except for the bags under my eyes which are still pale- like Trump's.
And I haven't been sun-bathing. That's something I never do. I've just been out and about, doing odd jobs in the garden, sitting on the swing seat solving crosswords- and the sun- which has been beating down relentlessly for a week or so- has got to me- even though I almost always wear a hat.
