Water, Water Everywhere

Matthew and his crew have been putting a new fence round the front garden- but stopped halfway because the post holes were filling up with water as soon as they'd been dug.

The rain held off yesterday, allowing the water to drain off the paths, but now we're waiting for Storm Dennis to show up- and predictions are he'll be even wetter than Ciara.

Y'all are having a lot of rain! I hope we don't have a hot dry summer. I hate that... messes with my blood sugars... well.. I suppose you might disagree...

Long spells of hot dry weather are uncommon over here, so we tend to be happy when they show up- but if they go on for weeks and weeks it becomes tiresome.
