I was handing out cheese to anyone who might want it because we don't eat it anymore and...

This is a thing I've found. You let people know you've become vegan and they think you're just spoiling for an argument.

Unfortunately a fair number of people are and they'd be wise to remember that it's still a minority sport.

Reaction is a nasty thing as we all know.
