Julia went into Tonbridge on Friday and says there were "covid police" assisting the real police in making shoppers feel uncomfortable. She did what she had to do and got out quickly.
The last time I watched a complete episode of the ATV series Robin Hood I was a little kid- and took its heroics at face value. Watching the 1955 episode "The Betrothal" last night I was surprised to find that it is in fact knowingly silly- with jokes about chopping people's heads off and sending them to their wives. I checked to see how old Terry Jones was when it was first broadcast- and the answer is 13.
