Twenty Mph

 We drove up to Becky's- in Highgate- by a new route that took us through much of East and North London. I'd never been in these places before (that I'm aware of) and it was fascinating- "Ooh look- that's The Hackney Empire!"  but much of it had to be done at a top speed of 20 mph- and I wouldn't want to make a habit of it. Our usual route involves coming in sideways- through Romford- where we pick up Mike and Su (we didn't have to this time) and it's much less draggy.
